Firstly, I was met with very friendly staff, I arrived at 9am, my room wouldn’t be available until the afternoon. The staff stored my luggage safely pointed me to a free coffee machine (all day, comp doughnuts available later in day), a toilet to use. Then I was free to explore for a few hours. I had a room with one double bed, was traveling alone. It’s a decent enough space for a solo traveller but would feel a little cramped with 2. This is not uncommon for a Tokyo hotel or Japan in general, as stayed in 4 hotels and they were all a similar size. The room has nice amenities, bed was comfy, smart tv, decent shower, smart Japanese toilet with heated seats etc. Shower gel, toothbrush with tooth paste all supplied and a small fridge for drinks also. The room was extremely clean on arrival and cleaned on the day I was out. Bed made and bin emptied. The location is really good as it has access to a couple of different underground lines, so you can access different areas of the city easily. Airports a bit trickier, but access to Akasuka, Shinjinku, Shibuya, Ginza all a couple of stops away. The area itself, has plenty of lunch time places, combi stores nearby. There is also a shrine and some little parks within walking distance to see for a bit of quiet time. The area wakes up a bit more early evening, there are a few Western style bars, local bars and more restaurants opening from 5pm. Where it’s not as busy as a few of the tourist central places I mentioned you could get to, I managed to sleep no problems. Would stay there again.

I’m fussy when it comes to hotels and usually only stay in 5 stars but we were on a budget. The beds were very comfy. The blinds completely black out so had the best nights sleep. The sound proofing was exceptional! Even though it was a busy area the room was silent! Decent size room for Japan. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was great! It has a cosy feel to it. Free coffee down stairs was great addition. Great location! Fun vibe, near a bunch of great eateries and a highball bar. Convenience stores, chemists, bottle shop, electronics store and train station right on the door step! So convenient! Location was perfect! We spent most our days travelling to Shibuya and all areas of Tokyo and the trains/subways were so easy!

Not too small for two people and the bed is soft with two pillows. The location is close to the subway and easy to find. The area is very lively at night so you may hear some noise if they are very loud but usually not that noisy. Close to many mini marts and restuarants, including Mcdonald. Close to tax-free shop and also donki, which is around 10-15 mins walk (If you can't find it, try searching 'Picasso Akasaka'on google map). The staffs can speak English, even not fluent and smooth but they still tried their best to help us. The cafe next door is a good place to work with your labtop (pasta with lemon cream and clam soup were tasty but red pasta with seafood is so-so).

We had stayed in The b Hotels before and this was exactly inline with what we expected. The location was amazing and all of the conveniences are close by. As expected, the staff were lovely and overall really helpful with any issues or inquiries that we had. For hotel rooms the size you expect in Tokyo, the beds were quite big and really comfortable, which made our longer stay a whole lot nicer. They also have a free revolving snack bar in the lobby, having either donuts, chocolate scones or other small treats. Also, they have facilities for heating up any of your konbini food as well as a free coffee machine. Overall, we have a really nice experience in this hotel.

Very convenient location, a two minute walk to the Akasaka-Mitsuke station which connects with the Ginza & Marunouchi lines and only a five minute walk to the Akasaka station for the Chiyoda line. Many great restaurants in the area and even a subsidiary of Don Quijote nearby for some cheap souvenirs for the trip home! The staff was very friendly and speaks decent English. The property offers free coffee 24/7 as well as lotions and toiletries. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout before our flight allowing us to explore Tokyo a bit more without dragging our bags around the city.
